The book is more about empathy than knowledge. It does not explain all the detailed components and procedures of the rituals. It focuses on the visualization of the different beliefs and attitudes toward death that are reflected in each ritual. In doing so, the book aims to awaken the reader's interest in considering death as an essential part of life.
